From the first time I met Sara and Tom – at Sara’s parents’ house – I knew that I was going to enjoy spending their wedding day with them. They’re a lovely couple who essentially just wanted to get all their friends and family together in one place to celebrate their wedding with them, and that’s exactly what they did. They chose Shingingford Farm at Carsington, near Ashbourne, as it allowed them to have everything just as they wanted it, and to have guests stay and make a weekend of it. I loved capturing the story of their day, and I loved getting to know them and their friends and families. Relaxed summer weddings? Count me in, every time!
