Professional wedding photography at Grangefields wedding barn Derbyshire

Grangefields Wedding Barn, nestled in the picturesque Derbyshire countryside, was the perfect setting for Nicole and Jack’s stunning black-and-white-ball-styled wedding. As their wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing every moment of their special day.

The venue itself is an absolute gem, with its exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and rustic charm that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Grangefields offers an idyllic setting, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views of the countryside. The barn can hold up to 150 guests, with plenty of space for dining, dancing, and celebrating.

Nicole and Jack’s wedding was a true reflection of their personalities, with the elegant black and white ball theme exuding sophistication and class. The barn was tastefully decorated with stunning white floral arrangements and elegant candlelight that created a romantic and intimate feel.

The post-ceremony celebration was a fun and eco-friendly twist on the traditional confetti toss. Instead, guests were handed bubbles, which added a whimsical touch to the day and made for some stunning photographs.

The food was catered by Cripps Kitchen, the in-house caterer, and was nothing short of exceptional. From the canapes to the main course and dessert, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. I know, because Nicole and Jack kindly ensured that Chris and I were catered for, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture!

After the speeches, it was time to hit the dancefloor. The DJ kept the energy up all night, and the guests danced the night away under the twinkling lights of the barn.

As a wedding photographer, I always look for opportunities to capture those intimate moments that make each couple’s day unique. For Nicole and Jack, the long grass in the neighbouring field was the perfect spot for some stunning portraits. The open fields and vast skies provided a breathtaking backdrop, making for some truly unforgettable photos.
