Derbyshire Engagement Photography | Rebecca and Chris
One of the best things about my job is that I get to meet up with brilliant people, explore some beautiful places with them and then have fun taking what are often their first professional photos of them together. It’s ALWAYS a great day when I have an engagement shoot booked in!
For this pre-wedding shoot, we headed up into north Derbyshire and found some stunning locations near Hardwick Hall. We spent around 90 minutes wandering around, chatting about their wedding plans, discussing the best place to go for a Sunday lunch after the shoot, and getting over that initial self-conscious feeling that everyone has when someone points a camera at them!
Meeting up like this is so important to my clients because it breaks the ice between us so that when I arrive on the wedding morning, we can pick up just where we left off. Plus, they get a collection of stunning photos of them just being a couple.
It was a genuine pleasure to get to know Becky and Chris during their Derbyshire engagement shoot and I’m really looking forward to sharing their wedding story with you in my next post!
Rebecca and Chris’ stunning wedding at Tibshelf Church and Alfreton Hall had everything: a magician, a nacho cart, a beautiful couple in love… and a lot of rain!
A brilliant Tipi wedding, with so many beautiful details everywhere you looked and a magician and an ice-cream horsebox amongst other things to keep guests entertained.
