A Morning Filled with Excitement and Preparation at Blackbrook House Wedding Venue
Today’s blog features Ellie and Josh’s Blackbrook House wedding. It’s been lovely to look back on this beautiful summer day I spent with Ellie, Josh and their guests. It’s also nice to revisit one of my favourite Derbyshire wedding venues. As always, the moment I arrived at Blackbrook House, I was greeted with the warm welcome I’ve come to expect from their brilliant team.
It was a pleasure to see Ellie and her bridal party, consisting of Jess, Poppy, Debbie, and her mum, Gill. Having previously photographed Jess’s wedding, it was lovely to see her again and meet her and Adam’s son for the first time.
The atmosphere during hair and makeup with Amazing Grace Hair and Make-up Artistry was relaxed and happy. The significance of having breakfast together at the venue was evident, setting the tone for the day.
Ellie looked stunning in her Ronald Joyce dress from Stately Brides in Belper. It was clear that she had chosen the perfect dress to complement her style and the elegant atmosphere of Blackbrook House.
A Beautiful and Personal Ceremony at Blackbrook House Wedding Venue
The outdoor garden ceremony at Blackbrook House was stunning. With the ceremony scheduled for 1:30 pm, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The lush greenery and beautiful surroundings made for an idyllic setting as Ellie and Josh exchanged their heartfelt, handwritten vows.
Wedding singer Imogen Taylor Hey performed as Ellie gracefully walked down the aisle, adding an extra touch of magic to the moment. As their photographer, I felt privileged to capture the emotions and memorable moments throughout the ceremony.
A Fun and Lively Reception at Blackbrook House
Following the ceremony, guests were treated to drinks on arrival, complete with a sangria bar and canapés. Wedding singer Imogen Taylor Hey continued to serenade the guests during the reception, her voice providing the perfect soundtrack to a summer afternoon in the gardens.
A Night of Entertainment and Celebration
As the sun began to set, evening guests arrived, and the celebrations continued. Ellie and Josh cut their cake from Emma’s Cakes Ripley before sharing their first dance as husband and wife.
The evening’s entertainment included a fantastic band, a casino, and a sparkler exit that was a joy to photograph.
