“We were amazed at how perfectly you captured every detail of the day, especially the photos of Adam and me, which we love!”

[dropcap]C[/dropcap]aroline and Adam wanted a winter wedding full of sparkle, fizz and glammed-up guests – and that idea summed up their wonderful day at Mythe Barn perfectly! The pair allowed themselves around 18 months planning their wedding, and it was certainly time well spent. There were so many beautiful details, from Caroline’s stunning Ronald Joyce gown to the incredible gold and sequin themed table decor supplied by Pumpkin Events; everything fitted the newlywed’s vision of the day perfectly.

Even the weather had read the script, and I arrived to a scene straight from a winter wonderland: a deep frost covered the grounds of Mythe Barn and mist hung in the air, rapidly being burnt away by the winter sun to reveal a beautiful blue sky. I don’t think Adam and Caroline could have hoped for a better day to become husband and wife!

Caroline’s beautiful Ronald Joyce gown was the perfect dress for the day – elegant with just a splash of sparkle!

The ceremony room had Mythe Barn provided a beautiful, light space for Caroline and Adam to make their vows. And a handy balcony for some photos!

All the table details and the table plan perfectly fitted the gold and sparkle theme of the day. Adam also managed to incorporate one of the other loves of his life into the day: Arsenal! The tables were each named after one of the members of the Invincibles team from the 2003-04 season.

Pumpkin Events helped to style Mythe Barn for the day, following Caroline and Adam’s vision for their wedding, and the whole venue looked incredible.

The boys travelled in style to the local Bulls Head. They must have been the best dressed, most dapper patrons that the pub had hosted in living memory!

Meanwhile, the girls were getting ready back at Mythe Barn.

Caroline looked simply stunning, and very, very happy to be marrying Adam!

Ready for the ceremony…

When I spoke to Caroline later, and asked what she remembered about the ceremony, the look of relief on Adam’s face when she walked down the aisle was at the top of the list! Quickly followed by the feeling of calm that she felt when she arrived at his side and held his hand.

Leaving as husband and wife!

This stunning cake was made by Kelly, the wife of Paul who was a friend of Adam’s from university. It looks fantastic, and I know that Caroline and Adam were really pleased with it!

Caroline and Adam braved the decidedly chilly December air for their wedding photography. We were lucky to have a beautiful soft light, which is often the case for a winter wedding. I love these shots on the driveway of Mythe Barn.

These two were just a joy to photograph! They are such a warm, funny couple and it was one of those days where I just felt that I was hanging out with friends – and photographing them.

We just had to get some shots of the back of Caroline’s dress…

The afternoon wore on, and after a delicious meal it was time for the speeches, which provided a rollercoaster of emotions – a few tears, but a lot of laughter; mostly at Adam’s expense!

We had time for a few quick evening portraits…

… and then it was time for the first dance! The music was provided by The Foaming Pints, which was perfect as it was at a Foaming Pints gig that Caroline and Adam first met!

The fun casino was a huge hit!

Congratulations again to Caroline and Adam! It was a real pleasure to spend the day with you, your friends and your families. It was a brilliant wedding from start to finish; a real reflection of the two of you as a couple. I hope your marriage is just like your wedding: full of gold, sparkle and fizz!
