While most of the pictures I capture will be spontaneous moments of joy, laughter, and love, I also make it a point to create some carefully crafted, beautiful portraits. By the time your wedding day arrives, we'll have met several times and had fun together on your engagement shoot. We'll know each other and you'll feel much more comfortable and relaxed! The key feedback I receive time and time again from the couples I work with is that I make them feel completely at ease. There’s something remarkably calming about having a familiar face capturing your most precious moments. By then, we’re not just a photographer and a couple, we're friends – I'm an extra guest who just happens to be armed with a camera!

I can be there to catch natural shots of you during the morning, and then throughout the ceremony, and from confetti to speeches and right through to dancing: we’ll ensure that you don’t miss a thing.

How many professional photos do you have of you as a couple? I know that Anna and I didn’t have ANY before our wedding. An engagement shoot is a great opportunity for us to meet up, have some fun and get to know each other. You’ll begin to relax in front of the camera and get any awkwardness out of the way before the day itself, and you’ll receive some beautiful portraits of the two of you.

In the morning we’ll make sure that we photograph your dress or suit, shoes, flowers, and any special jewellery. During the day we’ll be constantly on the lookout for all your carefully selected objects so that we can make a beautiful record for you to look back on.

As well as telling the story of your day, you’ll also want photos that capture something of the magic of your first hours together as a married couple. 90% of our photographs are documentary-style images – but we also want you to have a selection of beautifully composed, professionally lit photographs that show off both you and the amazing venue you’ve chosen for your wedding day.

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about three weeks of your wedding. At that time, we'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.

FAQs

Q: How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?
A: It's recommended that you book your wedding photographer at least 6-12 months in advance, as popular dates can fill up quickly.

Q: Do you offer engagement photo sessions?
A: Yes, I offer a pre-wedding photoshoot as part of my standard wedding photography package.

Q: How long will it take to receive our wedding photos?
A: You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about three weeks of your wedding.

Q: Do you also offer videography services for weddings?
A: Yes, I offer videography services in addition to photography. Please get in touch for more details on how we can create a custom package that includes both photography and videography for your special day.

Q: Do we need to pay a deposit to secure our wedding date, and how much is it?
A: Yes, a deposit of £200 is required to secure your wedding date. I understand that all of your suppliers want a deposit when booking and that this can add up, so I try to keep my deposit as low as possible.
